Eight UK theme parks to visit this summer

Before we know it, the long school summer holiday will be upon us. Few of us can go travelling for the whole 6 weeks (especially at the moment), so ‘treat’ days out could be the way to go. When you have slightly older children, or a range of ages that includes teenagers, a good bet would be to head to a theme park. Luckily in the UK we have some good ones. Fast rides, a picnic, character photo opportunities, ice cream … a theme park tends to tick most boxes for kids young and old. Here are some parks for you to consider.

 Legoland Windsor

“We love it there as it’s got something to offer families with children of all ages. My son would still happily spend hours in Miniland which is great for Lego fans, Duplo Valley is perfect for little ones while we like the larger rides in the main park.”

Drayton Manor

“For families looking for a theme park for children of multiple ages then Drayton Manor ticked all our boxes. It has rides for preschoolers along with teens and adults. Along with having reasonably priced food and drink.”

Suggested by Jaime, The Oliver’s Madhouse

Alton Towers

theme

“With CBeebies Land for the really little ones and a variety of larger rides for the entire family, Alton Towers is definitely a great day out for all. If you’re looking for a weekend away or mini break then the hotel, splash park, golf course and a nice selection of restaurants (the Secret Garden was a fav for us) will definitely keep you entertained too.”

Paultons Park

“Paultons Park is a fantastic, clean park with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Peppa Pig World has lots of fun family rides and the rest of the park has some bigger thrill rides and splash areas.”

Gulliver’s World, Warrington

“Most of the rides at Gulliver’s World are suitable for younger children and up. There are no huge thrill rides so it makes for a lovely family day out. The resort now offers a choice of accommodation to change your day out to a overnight break away.”

Wicksteed Park

“There are different zones for different age groups including a Splash Zone where you can have a go at Canoeing and other activities. It’s set in over 140 acres of parkland. and there’s also a campsite too. Tickets for the rides are also a lot more reasonable than your usual theme park (around £50 for the family).”

Chessington World of Adventures

“Chessington is a great family day out with plenty of rides and attractions for all ages. Little ones will particularly enjoy the Gruffalo River Ride Adventure. Little animal lovers will love seeing the animals and sea creatures in the zoo and SeaLife centre.”

Suggested by Louise, Little Hearts Big Love

Thorpe Park

“Thorpe Park is a great place to visit if you have teenagers or mini thrill-seekers. If your child is over 140cm then they can go on every ride.”

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at bloggers@fleaenterprises.com with any questions or comments.
