Where can you see the best sunset in the world? What’s the trendiest new café in Eastern Hemisphere right now? In our new flagship series we distil the world down into 100 intoxicating destinations and adventures, with some of the UK’s top travel bloggers as our guides. Trips100 Commissioning Editor Kirstie Pelling explains more…

100 Destinations

Jayne Gorman has been enjoying a coffee at a Sydney mega-café that has a resident pig called Kevin Bacon. In The Gambia, Kathryn Burrington has been feeding vultures, while David Whitley has getting up close to flamingos in The Yucatan. And Heather Cowper has been tasting her way around the Copenhagen cocktail scene. New Nordic Whiskey Sour anyone?

The best destinations

Travel bloggers have their finger on the pulse when it comes to world tourism. Because they are continually testing, tasting and trying. They are constantly on the lookout for new and original things to do, and will travel a gazillion miles for the most delicious view.

In a new series that will run over a number of seasons on Trips100, we will bring you 100 destinations from around the world. Yes 100! Woven into our regular blog feed, you’ll find a colourful mix of accessible holidays and off the beaten track adventures. We’ll throw in the odd city break too, in case you are pushed for time.

The best writers

Our men and women around the globe will cover everything from ‘so budget you could put it in your pocket’ to ‘so luxurious you’ll want to take a bath in it.’ Some of them have a long term relationship with their destination. And others spend their lives dipping in and out of exotic locations or jetting off for the weekend.

The best writing

If you haven’t discovered already, the Trips100 is a website created to showcase quality blogging and photography. We will be featuring some of the most popular travel writers in the UK and we hope you will discover some new writers to follow as well as new destinations to visit. And if you’d like to contribute a destination yourself, please drop us a line.

Enough of this. It’s time to find out where in the world you can get the tastiest ‘cronut,’ and ride an ‘absurdly silly float’ down a channel to the sea in a biosphere reserve!

Have fun- x100!
