#MustSeePlaces Linky: May 2020

Welcome to the latest #MustSeePlaces linky. During these times of such uncertainty, especially surrounding travel, let’s do some armchair travelling by looking at the travels you did this time last year.

Many thanks to everyone who linked up their travel posts last month. Before sharing my favourite posts, the #MustSeePlaces linky has now reopened and will run for four weeks. Please do link your (past) May travel posts, and pop back occasionally to read the posts that other travel bloggers have linked up.

Ladies What Travel have a very appropriate post on how to keep the travel vibe alive while you’re staying home. One of their suggestions – to explore your immediate surroundings – is one that we’ve grasped since being on lockdown. Our 1hr allowed walk each day has made us take a lot more notice of our immediate surroundings.

“We love a good book – whether it’s a Lonely Planet guide, a recipe book or a coffee table hardback, we can’t get enough!Ladies What Travel

My Travelogue visited Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, one of three UNESCO World Heritage Sites on Malta. The Hypogeum (an underground temple) is a New Stone age structure built in 3300-3000 BCE – so is basically 5000 years old.

“Photography isn’t allowed. You have to leave literally everything in lockers before going into the Hypogeum” My Travelogue

Chimptrips spent 4 days in Dubrovnik. This is somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit, especially the Old Town.

“Dubrovnik’s 13th Century city walls are 1970 metres long and take you round the whole of the Old Town.  You will get breath-taking views of the city, the Adriatic and nearby historic fortifications.  The walk around the ancient city walls will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the crowds and how many photo stops you make” Chimptrips

I’m really looking forward to reading your posts next month. Show us your #MustSeePlaces …

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] with any questions or comments.

Thank you!

The Flea Network Team

Got it!
