June Instagram #Trips100index Round Up

As a community we’ve been round the world and back this month. And as usual we’ve had a delightful range of Instagram shots added to our hashtag #trips100index. And the schools haven’t even broken up yet! Speaking of which, if you are doing anything exciting in July and August we’d love to follow your travels. While you are out and about at the beach and in the mountains do use our hashtag and we’ll pick out some of our favourites from your posts. Or if you’d like to do an Instagram takeover then leave us a message in the comments below. But for now, here are a handful of the posts that we’ve loved in June…

Let’s start in Bali  (Just because we can!) with this volcanic shot by Carly @girl_outofbounds. Some lovely textures and look at how the cloud hangs over the bay. A gorgeous pic. Now when can we go?

This weeks #outofboundstravel feature is by @bali_fix! I love the volcano in the background. 👍👍✈️

Lucy @lucydodsworth has been posting inspiring pics of Ronda in Spain. Lots of deep gorges and bays that make you want to wade in immediately. Check out the layers of rock in this awesome cliffside shot.

We just LOVED this urban landscape, taken on the Bordeaux riverbus by Laura @havekidswilltravel. So atmospheric.

There’s been a fair bit of cruising going on round here. Gary at @tipsfortravellers has been posting everything from puffins to polar bear patrol on his journeys to the Arctic Circle. Here’s a classic shot of his at Burgerbukta Glacier on Svalbard on his Silver Sea Crises expedition.

We love food Instagraming at Trips100 and Su @ethannevelyn has been posting a delicious range of images of hard boiled eggs. What do you mean you aren’t excited by a hard boiled egg? What if I tell you they are cooked in hot pools in the open air? Check this out:

And then they were finally ready… Baskets of chicken and quail eggs cooked in the aforementioned hot water pool. I call it the ‘egg cooking pot’. The 105°C water boil the eggs in just a few minutes, and they can be rinsed off at another sink using fresh water once you think it is done. We set ours to boil for 3 minutes. –>> Discover our story: http://wp.me/p6xjiJ-1DF . . #ExplorerKids #adventure #travel #instatravel #tourist #traveler #tagsta_travel #amazing #liveauthentic #cooking #travel1k #Trips100 #travelphotography #instapassport #passionpassport #suitcasemag #jetsetter #travelblogger #picnic #eggs #natural #naturalspring #hotspring #cookityourself #quail #discover #food #boiledeggs #closeup #naturalwater

Meanwhile here’s a great shot of Esther @inside0about getting a henna tattoo. You can almost imagine yourself as a fly on the wall looking down. Great design too! And Esther, you are never too old for henna.

Here’s a curious and lovely shot by Tina @fitibee of the awesome Casa Batlló in Barcelona. Great use of perspective. Gaudi would be proud!

We’re almost at the end of our top picks now. And here’s an image that will cheer you up, whatever your mood. A beach at sunset when you are alone is always a moving experience. And this inspirational image is the second from Carly @girl_outofbounds.

This may be my favourite photo taken during the last year. Thank god for tripods.

And finally, one that made us laugh. Never trust a family member to go postcard shopping for you says Maria @onetinyleap. The very thought!

When kids choose postcards 😂😍💕 #TinyTravels #Warsaw #poland

That’s it for this month. Until July folks, happy snapping and do let us know if you’d like to do a takeover…
