#GetGone Linky for May

2

Welcome to the #GetGone linky for May.  Many thanks to everyone who linked up their cruise articles last month.  I worked onboard cruise ships for three years and so I found reading everyones posts featuring various cruise ships, ports of call and tips for cruising particularly interesting.

Before sharing my three favourite posts for April, let me remind you of the theme for May – UK Holidays.  We want to hear all about holidays/short breaks you have enjoyed right here in the UK – have you recently shared a destination guide for a town/city in the UK?  Reviewed a quaint English cottage?  This is the perfect opportunity to inspire others to book a staycation.  The linky will remain open for a month, if you do join in, please don’t forget to pop back in a couple of weeks, for more UK holiday inspiration from other travel bloggers.

Favourite cruising posts from the April #GetGone linky

I loved Explore with Ed’s collaboration article featuring travel bloggers favourite ports of call.  Some of the ports recommended are also my favourite ports of call including Antigua in the Caribbean and Cannes in France.

Ed’s personal recommendation – “Cannes in France to experience the Riviera’s glamour, extravagance and a rich history of art and fashion”

Emma from Island Living 365 linked up a useful article for anyone considering a holiday with P&O Cruises – 10 things you should consider when booking a P&O cruise.  Having just cruised with P&O I completely agree with Emma regarding the fabulous kids clubs onboard, like Emma’s two children, my boys also pestered to go to kids club from the minute they woke up!

“Cruising is very family friendly and the kids’ clubs are the best I have come across” – Emma from Island Living 365

Thomas from Archaeology Travel linked up a beautifully written account of his cruise along the Nile – A cabin with a view: The Nile from the Oberoi Philae.  His post features a photo tour of the ship, photos of some of the best archaeological sites on the Nile including Valley of the Kings and King Tutankhamun’s tomb and some truly amazing captures of the sunrises he experienced…

“Cruising the Nile is a truly remarkable adventure… Whether you are taking time out in your cabin, soaking up the sun on the deck, or trying out the facilities on board the ship, the ever-changing view as your boat cruises up or down the Nile is sure to captivate you” – Thomas from Archaeology Travel.

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] with any questions or comments.

Thank you!

The Flea Network Team
