May Instagram #Trips100 delights

May is a great time for Instagraming. The spring is well underway, the flights are still cheap, and the annual Great British Bank holidays are here. So what better time to launch a new monthly feature picking out some of the best of your Instagram pics?

Join the Trips100 Instagram community

We love to see what you’ve been up to and we follow many of your travels though our Instagram community. If you’d like to join in the fun then use the #Trips100 hashtag when you are out and about. We look forward to showcasing some of our favourites each month.

Here are half a dozen of your pics that caught our eye in the last month:

Brollies from Burma

Cathy @mummytravels posted this colourful image from Myanmar, Burma. She marvels at how the umbrellas are produced with basic tools. And we do too! We also love how they fill the whole shot.

Malibu-ia dreaming

Meanwhile Maria @onetiny leap has been dreaming of Malibu in California, and inspiring us to dream too with this stunning shot of beach life. The sunshine, the spray the silhouette; it’s all there.

More Summer-dreaming, this time all the way from California. 📍M A L I B U. #TinyTravels

Ethan and Evelyn from @ethannevelyn have been finding an alternative way to cool down. And having a lot of fun in the process. Loads going on in this engaging pic from Thailand’s Songkran Festival.

Yarns from the yardarm

Closer to home, Heather @heathercowper has been watching bloggers climb high above the water in Bristol. Check out her dizzying post from Bristol’s SS Great Britain attraction:

Montenegro man

A couple of portraits grabbed us this month and wouldn’t let go. Firstly this characterful image of a stranger from Virpazar posted by Haley @borderlass33:

Foundry girl

And finally, enjoy this beautiful take on a day out to Finch Foundry in Oakhampton from Melody @domesstique. We did!
