Travel Blogger Road Trips and Tips

Fancy taking a road trip but not sure where to start or finish? And as for packing and choosing the soundtrack… Panic not, you need a travel blogger to give you some ideas as their experiences are many and varied. Kirstie Pelling profiles some Travel Blogger Road Trips and Tips…

Taking a trip

Let’s begin high on a mountain in Montenegro where Lou Messugo tackles a hairpin bend (or 25) on her way from Kotor Bay over Mt Lovćen, the black mountain from which the country is named. Check out this extremely visual post for details of her white knuckle ride.

Roma and Russell who blog at Roaming Required were also in the Balkans for their road trip of Croatia. In this post they introduce nine must sees. Places like Zadar and Sibenik, two National Parks with waterfalls and swimming spots and where to find the best wine, lace and cheese.

Cerys from Travelled So Far takes her children on a journey into her past on her North Norfolk Coastal Road trip. Interesting to read how things have changed, and yet stayed the same.

Rachel who blogs at Vagabond Baker recently started on a summer road trip of Denmark and Norway. In this post she describes in fascinating detail how she kits out the van for such an expedition.

Alice Langley who blogs at project Wanderlust is also on the road. In fact she’s coming towards the end of a road trip of the USA. Here she shares her top five tips. You’ll be surprised at their simplicity.

Planning a trip

If you’re on the road in Europe with a toddler, you want to make sure you the right travel accessories says Eleanor who blogs as The Bristol Parent. All shapes and sizes of accessories from a ready bed and paddling pool to nail scissors. Read on for some quirky advice and sensible tips.

A road trip is nothing without a decent soundtrack says Katy from Untold Morsels. Music instantly takes her back to her travels of Australia and the USA. In this fun blog post of soundtracks from road trip she tells us which tunes conjure up the sights, sounds and smells of the open road.

And finally Steph who blogs at Big World Small Pockets tells you all about what you cannot afford to leave behind. Including Wikicamps, beer koozies and well…of course, the wheels.

Happy road tripping…especially if you are taking one this summer.

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] with any questions or comments.

Thank you!
