#GetGone Linky for February

2

Welcome to the #GetGone linky for February.  We were delighted that 45+ travel bloggers joined in with our first linky last month to share their 2016 travel highlights and provide travel inspiration for others.

Before sharing our three favourite posts for January, let us remind you of the theme for this month – Winter Adventure.  You don’t necessarily have to link up a ski holiday or trip to Lapland to take part, (although if you have just returned from the slopes or from visiting Santa we want to hear all about it!)  Any winter adventure can be linked up  – a wintery hike or even a winter sun holiday.  The linky will remain open for a month so if you do join in, don’t forget to pop back in a couple of weeks for more winter adventure inspiration from other travel bloggers.

Our favourite travel inspiration posts from the January #GetGone linky

It is impossible not to be truly inspired from reading this 2016 Travel Recap by Letz Fly Away.  In 2016 the Luxembourg based family of four travelled to 19 countries, spent 107 days away from home, took a total of 51 flights, stayed in 32 hotels and enjoyed their first cruise.  Phew… we are exhausted just thinking about all that packing and unpacking!

We loved this post from Juggling on Roller Skates, written by the Holland family who are based in East Sussex – Our Year of Adventures 2016.  The family of six enjoyed lots of days out and short breaks in the UK during 2016 including a stay at a farm, glamping at the Eden Project and surfing in Devon.  Proof that you don’t need to leave the UK to enjoy memorable holidays!

Avid traveller, diver and photographer, Suzanne from Meandering Wild, shares her 2016 globe-trotting adventures in this beautifully written post 2016 Reflections – Locations and Landscapes.  Her highlights include a week trekking in Patagonia, diving in the Maldives and exploring Scotland.  We loved her photos, especially her sunset pics!

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] with any questions or comments.

Thank you!

The Flea Network Team
