December #Trips100 Round Up

Winter is here, Christmas is creeping towards us and you’ve all been posting some deliciously wintry and festive pics on Instagram in recent days. Thanks to everyone who is regularly using the #Trips100 hashtag. We love to see your images and share your journeying this way. Here’s a round up of posts we felt really captured the season’s travels….

The Eiffel tower does a fabulous impression of a Christmas tree. We always forget it lights up and night and get a fresh surprise every time we’re in Paris. So to kick off this winter round up here’s some dynamic sparkle from Karen @mini_travellers.

@Bristolbloggers, a community of Instragamers and bloggers in the West Country have also been checking out some winter lights in the dark. Perhaps surprisingly there’s an Alpine theme to these city centre goings on. @apresbristol is a new pop up ski bar in Millennium Square…

Staying in the South West @heathercowper has been checking out polar bears on Bristol’s @wherethewall street art tour. You get the feeling those bears would hop on a motor bike give the slightest encouragement.

Over in Portugal winter is evident in the bare trees but the atmosphere was nothing but warm when Clare from @suitcasesandsandcastles visited Lisbon and stumbled across drummers in Placa Luis de Camoes in Chiado. Here’s her cool capture of the musicians.

Bare trees are also evident in this capture by Haley @borderlass33 But this winter scene in Routh is warmed by the colours of a rainbow and Haley is sure there was a pot of Christmas gold to be found at the end. Did the elves get there first?

The pot of gold 🌈 is just behind the hedge. Who got there before me..?!

It’s all shades of white and silver for Gary who blogs and Instagrams as @tipsfortravellers with this delightful shot of Mraconia Church in Small Kazan on the Romania/Serbia border.

Meanwhile @NellHeshram from the Pigeon Pair and Me made a decision to step away from the Christmas glitz and took us back to her visit to Gouda cheese market in Holland earlier in the year. But there was no escaping the gold. Nell are you sure those cheeses don’t fancy themselves as baubles?

I’d like to finish on a warm note. Trish @mumsgoneto recently took herself off to Seville to warm up and here’s a reminder of what life was like for us all before Jack Frost arrived.

We still have a couple of weeks till Christmas so do keep posting your festive shots and we will keep watching out for them on the tag. And if any of you are going skiing we’d love to feature your antics in a #Trips100 round up early next year. Do let us know.

So You Know...

As you've likely heard and seen, there's an increasing focus on the authenticity of follower growth and engagement on social platforms across the Influencer Marketing community. The platforms themselves have taken measures to deter inauthentic activity and brands now more closely scrutinise the audiences of the influencers with whom they are partnering.

The Flea Network has implemented a system that will detect abnormal spikes in following and engagement, and flag these properties. Of course, such spikes can often be attributed to viral posts or high-profile brands that bring greater exposure to some content.

If one of your social accounts is flagged by our system without an obvious reason, we may reach out to you for assistance in understanding it. If we find any influencer has artificially inflated their audience size or engagement using paid acquisition or automated, third-party tools, we will remove them permanently from our influencer community.

Feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] with any questions or comments.

Thank you!

The Flea Network Team
